Ads here! sorry we havent all spoken in a while, things have been a little crazy.

Quick update: we just got back from touing the states, a lot of the shows got screwed over thanks to our AMAZINGLY DELIGHTFUL booking agent (no one EVER use Red Dragon Booking, here's their website www.reddragonbooking.com if you'd like to send them a bit of hate mail as they completely fucked us over and were fucking woeful to work with) anyways! we obviously didnt get to do a lot of the shows we promised we'd do & ended up playing mainly down the west coast and south. Were back home in aus now writing our first album and shit is going WELL!!!! i am exhausted cause i havent slept for days and have been drinking beer and singing too much, but as im sure your all aware they are 2 things that i am rather fond of in this life.

We'll start updating you all with footage and pics of us writing and personal wallet sized photographs of me for you to use at your own leisure.

I trust your all doing well and I'll be sure to check back the next chance I get!

RUINGLORIA SIGN AMERICAN TOURING DEAL

 

Sydney rockers, RuinGloria, recently signed a US Touring and PR agreement with American labels, Red Dragon Booking & Maelstrom Music PR. The band will be heading over to LA mid Jan '09 were they will be kicking off the deal with a 63 date, 3 month national tour in support of their latest single, I'm Pretty Sure My Ex-Girlfriend Is A Vampire.

To celebrate the release and the introduction of new bassist, Chris Wall, the band will be headlining at Caringbah Bizzo’s and tickets are selling fast.

Heyy everyone,
exciting times are coming. Yes we have a new member, yes it is a big secret at the moment so you will have to wait and in a few days we will reveal some more info on that.

In other news, we are going to record again, with the same producer that did our ep, but this time it will only be a couple of tracks. Thats happening at the end of June so hopefully it will be in your ears around mid July.

And also, we have started up a new street team. It's called GloryKids. There is a main myspace page which will be in our top friends.

Anyone who lives in america, we are touring there from Feb-May, if not longer. And we are playing 62 shows over the whole of North America, so chances are we will be playing somewhere near you.

This said we will also be playing around Australia before we go too.

Heeelllooo everyone.

I know adam just posted a couple of days ago saying he is back!!!!

and i know that excited a few people but... he has gone BACK to hospital.

it's not as serious this time though so he should be back in a couple of days. something to do with his surgery from last time.

 

Anyway, thought id fill you in on what we have been up to.

We havent played at all this year as some of us have  had holidays and been sick etc. so we are heaps keen to get back on stage. We have been writing new songs, a bit different to what we have done but much better in my opinion. For all you Americans, we have been in contact with a few booking agents over there to see if we can organise some shows. If you know of anyone who books shows or bands that could help us get shows LET US KNOW so we can play near you! As soon as a few shows are booked we will get visas and tickets.

We started making a new little video of our time on the road and just hanging out. Actually it's taking forever because me and Rud are extremely lazy. But it will be up soon i hope.

We have a few Sydney shows coming up so anyone who is around sydney then come out and support us!

And hopefully before we go to america we can do a few shows around Australia. That is if we have enough money to get anywhere so keep your eyes peeled!

Oh and Tim's hair is really long at the moment.

Im back !!!!!

and i didnt die! wooohoooformehigh five! YEH !!!

Thank you ALLLL soooo much for givin a fuck too! was amazing to come out and see all that, love you ALL !!!

anyway! hospital was FUCKEN horrible, my appendix blew(BANG!) they got the sucker out on a sunday morning, said that by the arvo I woulda been dead, should probly have gone in a bit earlier huh!.........oh well! least I cheated death ! DAMN IM AWESOME !!! i TOLD yew !!!

i was in there a bit over a week, it was my own little white prison cell (nice song title, NO ONE STEAL IT!) and it was horrid, they fucked up my medication so by the end of the week i found myself unnesescarily tearing up to Look Who's Talking! met a HEAP of awesome people in there, a few of which opened my eyes to certain things and i now owe quite a lot to. thank you. the week after that was shit, heap of cat scans and shit (why do they call it a CAT scan ?) but THEN i got to go to bali and kick back for a bit, which was probly good for my fucked up over exhausted body. BEAUTIFUL country, beautiful people, small cats....and interesting road rules.

anyWAY! apart from a bit of pain left over im gettin heaps better, so im sure i'll see you all out there soon for a beer or 3 !!!

Hey Guys,

Just thought we'd let you all know that Ads is in hospital as he had a bit of a close call recently.
His appendix ruptured, and for those who don't know, when it ruptures you only have a few hours before you die from internal bleeding. Luckily the doctors were able to get the majority of the fluid out of him. Unfortunately due to him not getting his ass to the emergency room when he should have, this thing went gangrenous and there were poisons floating around eating his stomach.
He's in recovery now but we doubt he will be able to get online for a little while.
We know how much he loves ALL you guys so many apologies for the lack of replies to messages, notes, etc.
I'm sure he will get back to you all when he is better.
